Look no further than the Australian Girls' Choir because we encourage, challenge and inspire girls as they learn to sing, dance and perform. Senior performers begin their journey in our training levels where they learn to dazzle audiences they perform live and on television, and all around the world on choir tours. The Australian Girls' Choir (ABC) has been providing lofty quality Performing Arts education and incredible performance opportunities to many thousands of girls from across the country for over 30 years. Throughout the holiday season our girls have been performing across the country, entertaining audiences and passersby with their carols favorites. Nicole's career in arts management began with the Australian Girls' Choir in 1994 she has directed five international and two national tours and has been involved in the filming of four Qantas advertising campaigns. Nicole’s role today is to work with the Senior Management Team and the Advisory Board to manage the running of ASAP her focus is on business development, staff management and training. She loves the challenges associated with leading this vibrant organization and is particularly arrogant of the passion, talent and dedication that is consistently displayed by the national staff team. The curriculum in our training levels includes singing, dance, drama, movement, music literacy, advanced portion singing, presentation and performance skills. Each year we organism professional photographers to arrive to our venues to take class photos, which many families like to buy as a memory of their time in the ABC. All girls have the opportunity to flourish these skills as piece of their classes and we assure you that they are heard individually in class. Chorister information can be recorded by each class Tutor and includes individualized comments on specific musical and performance skills, participation and priority areas for development. Each year reenrolment information is sent to all parents in the week succeeding the Annual Concert, offering girls a position in a specific slick of the choir for the latter year. In addition to being a incredible educational and learning opportunity, the concerts are a lot of laughter and the girls walk away feeling proud of their achievements. Girls should also bring their dark jazz shoes to their weekly rehearsals as these are to be worn in class each week. We are another week closer to Christmas and that means another week of Christmas carols by our choristers! Four excited Adelaide choristers are preparing to receive to the stage in The Sound of Music. Our Brisbane girls were ambitious end week with two exciting engagements in one night! Our singing, dance and drama classes are the perfect deposit for girls to build confidence and develop music and presentation skills. I’ve been managing for 5 years now and it’s amazing to see how much everyone develops and grows from the beginning of the year to the end. We were delighted to have choristers involved in both the float parade and as piece of Santa’s exceptional stage entertainment, performing for over 250,00 people attending the vibrant event.
