Sun spun has been selling pretty yarns from this shop for more than thirty years, and is one of Melbourne’s oldest yarn shops. Amy is now its latest (and only the fourth) owner. We love knitting, crocheting, weaving and busy with yarn, and for the crafts’ wealthy history, cultural diversity and the communities they foster. Now fully renovated and carrying fresh lines, we remain the tradition of supplying craters with a peerless selection of yarns, patterns, notions and accessories to inspire and aid you decide what to make. We carry books and patterns by all the major manufacturers, and by autonomous designers such as Brooklyn Tweed, Olga jazzy, Kirsten Johnston and more, as healthy as knitting and crochet tools and equipment from Fringe Association, Clover, Addie and Knitpro. We run classes throughout the year, and are available for private consultations by appointment.
