As an organization we precede the sport and business of bowls for the profit of the existing and future Victorian bowls community. We labor in partnership with our Clubs across the state to deliver professional management functions that urge our huge game including events, player development, rules, club services and communications. Bowls Victoria conducts team events during the year including: Bettyfbowlsvic.org.au Membership and Events. Bowls Victoria is elated to have developed partnerships with a range of vast organizations that assist to thrive the sport of bowls. The event see 16 Regions go headtohead for bragging rights as the best in the state in what is one of Bowls Victoria’s most prestigious events. Bowlers Arm Tournaments are run at clubs all around the State, and the number is growing rapidly. Many of these bowlers are competing successfully in unfold competition, Pennant and in Bowlers Arm events. Bowlers Arm competition is one of the major growth areas of bowls in Victoria. You can play either socially or at a competitive level. Bowls Victoria has recently developed coaching material assistance for coaches and armed bowlers to aid the growing band of bowlers using arms. The objective of the Coaching Coach Development Committee is to ensure that Bowls Victoria has a network of self adequate regionally based groups that promote the development of coaching initiatives and enhance the experiences of any participant or coach in the sport of bowls. Coaching Development responsible for the provision and delivery of Coaching Seminars and workshops across Victoria and liaise with Region and Division Coaching Coach Development Groups to ensure that coaches and potential coaches have access to apropos and appropriate training and where required, assessment. For up and tomorrow bowlers looking for more competition, or for schools looking for another opportunity to participate in bowls, the Bowls Victoria Schools Defy competition is perfect for you. Aside from Bowls Victoria or your local Region Bowls Manager, there are a number of other organization's that can aid you in you work with schools. Through involvement in the Hasty Track program, Bowls Victoria hopes to empower women to become leaders within their bowling communities whether that be at club, region or state level. With modified equipment and activities now available, the naturally inclusive sport of bowls is even more close for students of all ages and abilities, while easy to follow resources malicious the sport can be delivered by teachers, as healthy as accredited coaches from local clubs. Bowls Victoria is committed to providing opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to participate in our sport this includes making our sport more accessible to People with Disabilities (FWD). Whatever you want, bowls is for everyone. We hope you love playing our great sport as much as we do. If there’s one question our Regional Bowls Managers get asked more than any other by clubs it is how can we entice new members? Regional Bowls Managers are able to aid in the succeeding areas: Bowls Victoria highlights what we call Lighthouse Clubs who deliver excellent performance, innovate, or have major victory in building membership and participation in the sport. Every club could do with some excess dollars, and there are grants out there available to sports clubs, unfortunately most clubs don't know where to find them.
